Sleeping Giant Visitor Centre

Located on Sibley Peninsula inside Marie Louse Lake

an hour from Thunder Bay Ontario.

The Sleeping Giant Visitor Centre endeavors to make

visitors aware, and gain an appreciation of the

natural, cultural, and recreation resources available

in North Western Ontario. Sleeping Giant believes it

occupies a unique role in the education of the public

with regards to stewardship. We designed Exhibits

within major themes of geology, natural and cultural

history.  Each of the divisions incorporates facets

of the park which are explained through language,

diagram and physical objects. In this case, Sleeping

Giant literally brings physical examples of human

inhabitation, fauna/flora into the interior of the

building allowing interpretation to aggregate regions

complex uniqueness.
