"Discovery" was the most agreed upon
word to describe the purpose of the
Institute. The central generator for
institute's language returned to BMO's
turn of the century commercial past.
More specifically to cultural artifacts
of neoclassical architecture, monetary
symbols and monographic seals which
represented BMO's historic economic
acumen. BMO's IFL lobby, atrium,
break-out lounges and classroom
corridors are utilized as opportunities
to integrate BMO's historic
narrative by weaving artifact
into physical space.
